CILEX Professional Qualification (CPQ)

This is a well-respected and long-established route to qualifying as a Lawyer both here and in other jurisdictions.

This is the latest version that has been designed to allow many levels of staff within a legal advice business to qualify as Lawyers, Paralegals and other support staff.

If you join us and you have a Law Degree this can work very well as a route to qualifying. You would start at the CPQ Advanced level with the advantage of some extra exemptions.

If you don’t have a Law Degree it does not matter, this route at the entry CPQ Foundation level also enables you to give your career the needed start.

To progress all the way to the same level and expertise as a qualified Solicitor but with far less cost and far more experience, you would need to complete the CPQ Professional level and record and submit the history of your Professional Experience to CILEx Regulation.

You and your clients will be reassured to know that being a CILEx-qualified Lawyer means that you must uphold the highest Ethics and Professional Responsibilities.

If you still desire to qualify as a Solicitor you can progress to that side of the profession by completing the SQE.
