Working with us
“We are always looking for special individuals wishing to be part of a successful and innovative, growing law firm.”
To be part of our client-facing team you will understand that family life is dynamic and complicated. We look for individuals who understand that knowing the law is only part of being a top professional.
You will be a good communicator, be keen to learn from some of the best legal professionals and become a specialist rather than a generalist.
You will need to be equally comfortable working independently and as part of a young and dynamic team. In other words, we will give you the autonomy and responsibility to build strong and meaningful professional relationships with our valued clients.
A competitive salary is offered together with exemplary staff benefits following a qualifying probationary period.
We offer full in-house training given to the right candidate with an ongoing mentoring development programme. Minimum requirements are: Great client relationship management, good communication, well presented, driving license and your own car is essential.
We offer ongoing support and assistance
We can help you qualify as a Fellow of CILEx at the earliest opportunity and regular CPD sessions throughout your employment with April King (in line with regulatory requirements). We also offer Assistance/guidance when you are compiling your CILEx Portfolio.
NB: A Fellow of CILEX who has obtained the LL.B or GDL and LPC is exempt from the requirement of a training contract. If they wish to qualify as a solicitor, they must complete the core elements of the Professional Skills Course (8 days rather than the 12 that would be usually required under the traditional route).
