Since launching in 1991 as King & Co and merging with April Law Associates in 1996 we have gone from strength to strength.
At April King we pride ourselves on being a very modern and approachable Legal Services Group. Our dedicated teams are specialists in their particular field, whether it is our Trust and Estate Lawyers or any one of our growing panel of Independent Chartered Legal Executives, Solicitors, Conveyancers, Mediators and Barristers.
We all work together to provide you with first class legal advice in all areas of estate and family law, including matrimonial and property.
We pride ourselves on our level and range of services, such as Bloodline Wills, which offer you and your family great peace of mind.
April King is a legal business that specialises in helping ordinary people handle the important events that occur through each of our lives. Whether you are starting a relationship; buying a house; dealing with relationship breakdown; handling contact disputes over children or grandchildren; looking to protect your assets with a will; or, handling the difficulty of death and probate, we are here to help.
We know that going to a traditional solicitor’s firm can be intimidating and expensive. We are different. We employ a range of lawyers and customer service experts to make sure we understand your issues and expectations and we deliver expert solutions tailored to your needs.
Sometimes we will handle all your case ourselves. For most clients that is the best way forward. But sometimes we will want to work with a partner solicitor or barrister because they have additional expertise that is right for you. Sometimes (such as going to court in a dispute) it is just because the law requires you use certain types of lawyer for certain work.
We will always make it very clear who is doing what work and who is responsible for helping you. But if we pass you on to one of the other solicitors or barristers we work with, then we will make sure they adhere to our high customer service standards and transparency on price. We will ask you at the end of your case if they met those expectations and you can tell us at any time if they are falling short.
