April King - Worcester Office
Saint Mary's Street
Welcome to April King Legal in Worcester. Our team of lawyers at County House can assist you, your family and your business with a range of legal matters. We offer a free first Wills and Lasting Power of Attorney appointment either at our offices or at your home address where you can discuss your objectives and the range of options open to you with a trained lawyer.
Already made a Will? No problem, so have many of our other clients before they come to us. Quite often we find that clients have drawn up Mirror Wills with other law firms and these are entirely unsuitable, putting your share of the family estate at risk (see our article ‘Dad could not have known I would be disinherited‘ for more details). We specialise in Wills that keep your share of the estate in the family and protect it from both care fees and predatory first parties.
Do you have a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA)? People can lose mental capacity at any age for a variety of reasons and everyone aged 18 or older should have this important document. If you lost mental capacity and you had not made a LPA, anyone can apply to the Court for a Deputyship Order to act on your behalf. This might not be who you would have chosen. Further, the Deputyship Order is an expensive and lengthy process compared to making an LPA which is affordable and simple.
In addition to our Wills and LPA service, we offer a wide range of services covering most legal matters.
