By car, Hinckley is best approached via the M69 motorway or the A5 (Watling Street). Follow signs to the centre of the town, as Lower bond Street is very central.
By train, Hinckley Railway Station is on the CrossCountry route, operated by Arriva. There are typically trains every hour to/from Birmingham New Street (westbound) and Leicester (eastbound). The Atkins is a half-mile walk from the station, via Station Road, across the Market Place and along the end of Regent Street to lower Bond Street.
There is a Pay-and-Display car park opposite the Atkins on Lower Bond Street.
On a sunny day, why not take a walk through Burbage Common and woods. This pretty area has plenty of different routes to explore and a tea room for light refreshments. For a more filling lunch, pop over to the Elbow Room Ale and Cider House where you can find a great selection of real ales and ciders, served alongside a delicious selection of food. Hinckley and District Museum is also worth a trip – this lovely old historical building has so much to discover about the local area.
