Making a Will During COVID-19 – Direct Appointments
How does a direct appointment work?
Our direct appointments work in a similar way to our regular appointments:

What types of work are suitable for a direct appointment?
We offer direct appointments for Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Deputyship Orders and Probate appointments. Direct appointments are not offered for other types of work. Instead, we offer a free initial discussion and a no-obligation quote where legal work is appropriate.
How much does a direct appointment cost?
For Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Deputyship and Probate we offer a direct appointment of up to an hour, free of charge.
What happens during a direct appointment?
Our lawyer will telephone you at an agreed time on an agreed day. If you’re seeking advice as a couple (for example, on making a Will), you’ll need a phone that lets you put our lawyer on speaker. Importantly, this allows our lawyer to advise you together. They will start by introducing themselves and the firm, before providing you with the opportunity to discuss your aims and concerns. They will then provide you with clear, jargon-free advice and set out the legal options available to you. If legal work is appropriate, they will provide a quote without obligation.
Who will I be speaking to?
Our direct appointments are conducted by one of our experienced and knowledgeable legal team.

“Our clients find that Direct Appointments are an extremely convenient way to access quality legal advice, without having to leave their homes. We speak to clients at a time convenient to them, using the phone or video – whichever they feel most comfortable with. In today’s fast-paced society, direct appointments allow us to serve more clients in a way that best suits their needs and circumstances.”
